Questions & Answers
The Balterio laminate floors have been tested according to the strict European standard EN14041:2004. The CE mark on the packaging demonstrates this. The welfare of the consumer is the focus of this standard. For example, the level of formaldehyde in the laminate core is tested. The standard states that this may be a maximum of 3.5 mg/m²h (E1). The Balterio laminate floors score on average 10 times better than this maximum. The Balterio laminate floors consequently guarantee extremely low emissions of formaldehyde when handling and sawing, so the risk of damage to health is practically zero. Also, during impregnation no phenol resins are used, and the use of solvent inks in the decorative paper is avoided to the extent possible.
